Duas
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ أَشْرَفِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ
Narrated by Bukhari (6306)
اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوْءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوْءُ بِذَنْبِيْ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ فإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Narrated by Bukhari (7387) and Muslim (2705)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِرًا وَلاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Narrated by Muslim (2722)
اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا
Narrated by Abu Daud (5096)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Narrated by al-Bukhari (6344) and Muslim (2481) from Anas with the words "اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ", while the words "وَأَطِلْ حَيَاتَهُ واغْفِرْ لَهُ" are narrated by al-Bukhari in *al-Adab al-Mufrad* (653), Ibn Sa'ad in *al-Tabaqat al-Kubra* (8451), and Abu Ya'la (4236).
اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالِي وَوَلَدِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَنِي، وَأَطِلْ حَيَاتِي عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ، وَأَحْسِنْ عَمَلِي، وَاغْفِرْ لِي
Narrated by Ibn Majah (1384)
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ. أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَالْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ، وَالسَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ، لَا تَدَعْ لِي ذَنْبًا إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ، وَلَا هَمًّا إِلَّا فَرَّجْتَهُ، وَلَا حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضًا إِلَّا قَضَيْتَهَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا صَلَاتَنَا وَدُعَاءَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
اللَّهُمَّ اخْتِمْ لَنَا بِحُسْنِ الْخَاتِمَةِ وَلَا تَخْتِمْ عَلَيْنَا بِسُوءِ الْخَاتِمَةِ
اللَّهُمَّ أَحْسِنْ عَاقِبَتَنَا فِي الْأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا، وَأَجِرْنَا مِنْ خِزْيِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْآخِرَةِ
Narrated by al-Hakim in al-Mustadrak (1878)
اللَّهُم قَنِّعْنِي بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ، وَاخْلُفْ عَلَى كُلِّ غَائِبَةٍ لِي بِخَيْرٍ
al-Isra' (17:24)
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَلِوَالِدَيْنَا وَارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانَا صَغِيرًا
اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنَا بِالْإِيمَانِ، وَأَمِتْنَا بِالْإِيمَانِ، وَأَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ مَعَ الْإِيمَانِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ سَلَامَةً فِي الدِّينِ وَعَافِيَةً فِي الْجَسَدِ وَزِيَادَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَبَرَكَةً فِي الرِّزْقِ وَتَوْبَةً قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ وَرَحْمَةً عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَمَغْفِرَةً بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ. اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا فِي سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالنَّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَالْعَفْوَ عِنْدَ الْحِسَابِ
Narrated by Al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (10379)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَمْلِكُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Al-Baqarah (2:255)
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِيْنِكَ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Narrated by Ibn al-Sunni in 'Amal al-Yaum wa al-Lailah (121) and al-Tabarani in al-Ausat (9411)
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ عُمُرِي آخِرَهُ، وَخَيْرَ عَمَلِي خَوَاتِمَهُ، وَاجْعَلْ خَيْرَ أَيَّامِي يَوْمَ أَلْقَاكَ
Narrated by Ahmad (17628), al-Tabarani in al-Du'a (1436), al-Baihaqi in al-Da'awat al-Kabir (269) and al-Hakim in al-Mustadrak (6508)
اللَّهُمَّ أَحْسِنْ عَاقِبَتَنَا فِي الْأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا، وَأَجِرْنَا مِنْ خِزْيِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْآخِرَةِ
Al-Baqarah (2:201)
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Al-Furqan (25:74)
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنَا وَلَا تَنْقُصْنَا، وَأَكْرِمْنَا وَلَا تُهِنَّا، وَأَعْطِنَا وَلَا تَحْرِمْنَا، وَآثِرْنَا وَلَا تُؤْثِرْ عَلَيْنَا، وَارْضِنَا وَارْضَ عَنَّا
Narrated by al-Tirmizi (3483), al-Tabarani in al-Du'a (1393), al-Bazzar (3580) and al-Baihaqi in al-Asma' wa al-Sifat (894)
اللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْنِي رُشْدِي، وَأَعِذْنِي مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي
Narrated by Ibn Majah (925)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً
Al-Baqarah (2:250)
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Narrated by Abu Daud (2130), al-Tirmizi (1091), Ahmad (8957), al-Nasa'i in al-Sunan al-Kubra (10089), al-Baihaqi in al-Sunan al- Kubra (14214); al-Da'awat al-Kabir (495), and al-Hakim in al-Mustadrak (2745).
بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ، وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ، وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ
Narrated by Abu Daud (1554), Ahmad (13027), al-Nasa'ie (5493) and Abu Ya'la (2897)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ، وَالْجُنُونِ، وَالْجُذَامِ، وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الْأَسْقَامِ
Narrated by Muslim (2722), Abu Daud (1458), al-Tirmizi (3482), al-Nasa'ie (5536), Ibn Majah (3837) Ahmad (19402) and Ibn Hibban (1015)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا
Al-Anbiya' (21:87)
لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Narrated by al-Tirmizi (3591), Ibn Hibban (960), al-Tabarani (19/19) and al-Bazzar (9/155)
اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي مُنْكَرَاتِ الْأَخْلَاقِ، وَالْأَهْوَاءِ، وَالْأَسْوَاءِ، وَالْأَدْوَاءِ
Narrated by al-Bukhari (1377) and Muslim (1352)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
Narrated by Ibn Majah (3846), Ahmad (25180), al-Tabarani (2/252) and Ibn Hibban (458)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا
An-Naml (27:19)
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Ali Imran (3:8)
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Narrated by al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (10379) and Abu Nu'aim in Hilyah al-Auliya' (7/280). This hadith is classified as authentic by the author of al-Silsilah al-Sahihah.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَمْلِكُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Al-Kahfi (18:10)
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Narrated by al-Bukhari (6369), Abu Daud (1555), al-Tirmizi (3484), al-Nasa'ie (5449) and al-Baihaqi in al-Da'awat al-Kabir (305)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
Al-Saffat (37:100)
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Al-Qasas (28:24)
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Narrated by Abu Daud (5088), al-Tirmizi (3388), Ibn Majah (3869), al-Nasa'ie in al-Sunan al-Kubra (10178) and Ahmad (446)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ، وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Narrated by Ahmad (3712)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ ، وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ ، وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي ، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي ، وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي ، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ خَيْرِ خَلْقِهِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ، وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ، وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Translations
1. Opening Before Supplication
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Peace and blessings be upon the most noble of prophets and messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions all.
2. The Master of Forgiveness Prayer
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity worthy of worship except You, You created me and I am Your servant. I am committed to my covenant with You (to worship You alone) and believe in Your promise (of Paradise for me) to the best of my ability. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me and I confess my sins, so forgive me. Indeed, none can forgive sins except You.
3. Seeking Forgiveness Doa
O Allah! Indeed, I have wronged myself greatly, and none can forgive sins except You. So grant me forgiveness from Yourself, and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.
4. Seeking Piety Doa
O Allah, grant piety to my soul, and cleanse it for You are the best to cleanse it. You are its Protector and Lord
5. Leaving the House Doa
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah
6. Blessing in Wealth and Offspring Doa
O Allah, increase his wealth and offspring, and bless him in what You have given him. Prolong his life in obedience to You, and make his deeds good, and forgive his sins.
7. Dua After the Hajat Prayer
There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I ask You for the means of Your mercy, the resolutions of Your forgiveness, the acquisition of every virtue, and the safety from every sin. Do not leave for me any sin except that You forgive it, no worry except that You relieve it, and no need that You are pleased with except that You fulfill it, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
8. Dua After the Prayer of Repentance
O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no deity except You. You created me, and I am Your servant. I uphold Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for verily none can forgive sins except You.
9. Dua for Acceptance of Prayer and Supplication
O Allah, accept from us our prayer and our supplication, indeed You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, and accept our repentance, indeed You are the Acceptor of Repentance, the Merciful.
10. Dua for a Good Ending
O Allah, seal for us a good ending and do not seal upon us a bad ending.
11. Dua for a Good Ending in All Affairs
O Allah, make the outcome of all our affairs good, and deliver us from the disgrace of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter.
12. Dua for Contentment with Provision and Blessings in It
O Allah, make me content with what You have provided me, bless it for me, and replace everything that I have lost with something better.
13. Dua for Forgiveness for Parents
O Allah forgive our sins and those of our parents and have mercy on them as they raised us when we were small.
14. Dua for Living and Dying with Faith
O Allah, make us live with faith, die with faith, and enter us into Paradise with faith.
15. Dua for Safety in Religion and This World and Hereafter
O Allah, we ask You for safety in religion, well-being in the body, increase in knowledge, blessing in provision, repentance before death, mercy at death, and forgiveness after death. O Allah, ease for us the throes of death, salvation from the Fire, and pardon at the reckoning.
16. Dua for Seeking Provision
O Allah, indeed I ask You for Your favour and Your mercy, for indeed none possesses them except You.
17. Dua of Ayatul Kursi
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
18. Dua When Afflicted by a Calamity
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange.
19. Firmness of Heart Doa
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion
20. Forgiveness Doa
O Allah, indeed You are the Most Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me
21. Good End of Life Doa
O Allah! Make the best of my life its ending, and the best of my deeds its final action, and make the best of my days the day that I meet You
22. Goodness in the End of Affairs Doa
O Allah! Beautify the end of all our affairs, and protect us from disgrace in this world and from the punishment of the Hereafter
23. Goodness in This World and the Hereafter Doa
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
24. Guidance, Piety, Chastity and Wealth Doa
O Allah, indeed I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and wealth
25. Having a Good Family Doa
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous
26. Help for Remembrance Doa
O Allah, help me to remember You, to be grateful to You and to worship You in the best manner
27. Increase in Goodness Doa
O Allah! Add to our lives and do not take away. Honour us and do not disgrace us. Give to us and do not deprive us. Choose us and do not abandon us. Be pleased with us and be pleased with all our efforts.
28. Inspiration of Intelligence Doa
O Allah! Inspire me with intelligence and guidance and protect me from the evil of my soul
29. Knowledge, Sustenance and Accepted Deeds Doa
O Allah, indeed I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good sustenance and deeds that are accepted
30. Patience and Steadfastness Doa
Our Lord, pour upon us patience, and make our foothold firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
31. Prayer for the Newlyweds Doa
May Allah bless you in happiness and in sorrow, and may He unite you in goodness.
32. Protection from Chronic Diseases Doa
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leprosy, madness, elephantiasis, and evil diseases
33. Protection from Four Things Doa
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a heart that does not fear (You), from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered
34. Recognition Doa
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers
35. Saved from Evil Doa
O Allah, keep me away from evil manners, desires, and from all evil, and from the diseases that lead to destruction
36. Saved from Punishment Doa
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, the torment of Hell, the trials of life and death, and the trial of the False Messiah
37. Seeking Goodness and Rejecting Evil Doa
O Allah, I ask You for all goodness, whether I know it or not, whether it is immediate or delayed. I seek refuge in You from all evil, whether I know it or not, whether it is immediate or delayed. O Allah, I ask You for the good asked for by Your slave and Your Prophet, and I seek refuge in You from the evil sought refuge from by Your slave and Your Prophet. O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and whatever brings one closer to it in word or deed. And I seek refuge in You from the Fire and whatever brings one closer to it in word or deed. And I ask You for every decree that You have decreed concerning me to be good.
38. Seeking Gratitude Doa
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve and admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.
39. Seeking Guidance Doa
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
40. Seeking His Blessings and Mercy Doa
O Allah, I ask You for Your blessings and mercy. Indeed, no one possesses them except You
41. Seeking Mercy Doa
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.
42. Seeking Refuge from Grief Doa
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, and from the burden of debt and the oppression.
43. Seeking Righteous Offspring Doa
My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous.
44. Surrendering to Him Doa
My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.
45. Seeking Safety Doa
In the name of Allah with Whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing
46. Tranquility of Heart and Soul Doa
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your male servant, son of Your female servant, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
47. Closing Supplication
May Allah send blessings upon the best of His creation, our master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions, and grant peace. Glorified is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they attribute to Him. And peace upon the messengers. And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
